Bagel Love


Ok, we are on carb overload over here. Grandma and Abuelo brought up authentic NY bagels this weekend. It is our one thing that we truly whole-heartedly miss from living downstate. No one can make an authentic NY bagel outside of the NYC / Long Island region...can't happen.
So we were smitten with the dozen or so of everything bagels that adorned my kitchen counter for less than 24 hours. We ate bagels for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Toasted with butter or cream cheese.

We smacked our lips, licked our fingers of the dripping butter, and picked at the toasted garlic pieces left on our plates afterwards.

Sadly, the bagels are now gone. We must patiently wait for their return with our next visit from downstate family.
